Hi thank you for adding me to the Forum, I’m planning my first Camino for May 2022, starting from SJJP 16th May
We'll be there in April 23. Starting in St. Jean Pied de Port. This will be our 3rd Camino but the 1st starting in St.Jean.

My only Camino (to date) started on May 17, 2019 from SJJP. I hope your trip is memorable and enjoyable. My only suggestion is to closely watch what the weather will be as you cross over from France to Spain--and be ready for just about anything. Don't be hesitant to delay the start if the weather is not the best.
