Hello,
I'm Michele 28 years-old, I'm going to do for first time in my life a pilgrimage like on foot. My brother, benedectine monk, will share this experience with me. I don't know what expect but I suppose this cammino will give me something to improve my life.
We arrive on 26/07/2018 in Lourdes from Rome and from there we'd like to reach Saint Jean Pied de Port by sharing a taxi ride or we may go south to cammino Aragonese.
If you have some advice about this, I'll be grateful to read!

Join our full-service guided tour of the Basque Country and let us pamper you!
Hike the Aragones until it meets the CF in Puente La Reina - it’s no easy walk, but it’s beautiful, quiet, and contemplative. Depending on your time and fitness level, you may want to bus/taxi from Lourdes and start in Somport.

The walk from Lourdes to Oloron-Ste.-Marie is not difficult. There you can cross the Pyrenees at Somport (quite a climb, but you can take a bus through the mountain to Canfranc Estacion if you want). Follow the Camino Aragones to Puente La Reina, and you are among the crowds on the Camino Frances. I honestly do not think it would be worth the effort to get from Lourdes to SJPdP just for the sake of starting there. However, chacun a son gout!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
