Time of past OR future Camino
el Norte June 2020
This is my first post and I would just like to send my warm greetings to all of you on this forum
and to say thank you, thank you, thank you, for all the amazing information and support that
I have found here.
I have felt the calling of the Camino for years and after incubating away in my consciousness
for all this time it has bloomed, at first, into a great big scary idea for 2020 into booking
my flights from Australia just yesterday.
Still scary but also very exciting.
I have spent hours and hours on this forum reading about everything from that great thread on
introversion/extroversion to the great poncho/raincoat debate and all the rest.
I can't tell you how much it has helped me settle more peacefully into what was inevitable...
I am going to do this.
I will land in San Sabastian 2 June and have given myself until 13 July to get to Santiago and
then on to Muxia along the el Norte Camino.
Thank you for all for both all the practical information and for the incredibly supportive and positive vibe
that I have found here on the forum.

Join our full-service guided tour of the Basque Country and let us pamper you!

Welcome, David!
I lurked on the forum for two full years before I joined. Adding my "voice" in to the mix has been very rewarding. I'm sure you will find being a member here enjoyable, as well.
Buen Camino!

Thanks Kanga. I may take you up on your offer as I get closer to my fly date.
I felt my Camino 'kick in' a few days after I booked my flight. It has definitely started.
I have been having walking dreams at night and it is never far from my consciousness during the day.
I am pretty excited.
