First-time Pilgrims from Minnesota start Camino

Hello,

I have a previous thread out here about our starting our first Camino in mid March. My husband and I will arrive in Madrid on March 10 and would like to start our Camino in SJPDP on or around March 14. We're trying to figure out the best way to get to SJPDP from Madrid. It seems there may be a few steps involved. Can someone out there please share with us their experience with this? I hear there are a few other first timers trying to figure out the best way to get to SJPDP.

I am flying from California to Madrid with a connection to Pamplona. From Pamplona there are several options to SJPdP. Others will chime in here with their best connections.

Many ways lead to Saint Jean Pied de Port, depending on your budget and how comfortable, leisurely you like to travel.
