The 'Outdoor' Guide book by Raimund Joos does not have the section for Fisterre to Muxia. It does have a link to a downloadable pdf, which can also be opened/stored in iBooks. It is the same format as the book. It appears to be very helpful and is free. http://camino-de-santiago.de/muxia-en.pdf

In my opinion walk to Muxia from Santiago, then go to Finnesterre.
Just an idea, lots of choices on the Camino!

Thanks for your opinion. I won't be following your idea as I want to go to Finisterre then Muxia. I agree there are lots of choices 'on the Camino', but when the choice is between walking to Finisterre then Muxia, or Muxia then Finisterre there aren't so many choices. In fact I make it two choices. I wasn't giving an opinion myself, just giving a free link to a pdf. The 'Outdoor' Guide to which I refer is the one that goes from SJPdP to Finisterre. At the end of the book is the link to Muxia.

I'll stick with Brierley's.
Walking May 28th from SdC to Finisterre, to Muxia, to SdC....

The format is not quite the same: The map is older and not yet very precisely,
and that's why the directions in the text is still more accurate.

If you choose to walk from Santiago to Finisterre first, the Municipal Albergue there is where you get your Fisterrana certificate and they will also give you a free map for the route to Muxia.

This is what we did. It is a very basic outline map (September 2012). We got to Muxia, but did get "off" the map route for a bit.
