I am flying into Paris on the 28th April at 6:10 in the morning from the US. I am trying to decide which train to catch to Bayonne/Biarritz but am not sure how long to allow for customs. I will only have my back pack which I am using as a carry-on. There is a TVG train at 10:28 , is there enough time to clear everything and catch this train ? I want to make connections and be in St Jean Pied de Port the evening of the 28th as I have reservations for the night there.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Stephen, my wife and I just got back from a trip to Paris and the process of getting through customs was brief. I would guesstimate that from landing to exiting the airport was about 45 minutes. My only suggestion is that you research in advance, a secondary train departure time so that you can relax and you aren't stressing over whether or not you make that 10:28.

Thank you David, I have gone to Paris but it has been about 10 years and wasn't sure of the situation now. There is another train around 12:30 , just trying not to be too late getting into SJPdP. The pieces are all falling into place and it sure is easier with all the help I get from nice people like you. You will have a great time planning and getting ready. Buen Camino Stephen

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
