From Madrid to Leon

Hello!
Im planning to walk from Leon.
Im arriving in Madrid airport T1 terminal at 22.20.
Alsa bus from Madrid to Leon departs at 23.00 and 23.50 from T4.
Is it possible to catch the bus at 23.00.
And how about bus tickets? Is it possible to buy tickets on bus or only online?
And what to do in Leon at 4 in the morning when buss arrives? :roll:
