I took the train which left Santiago just after 9am, and arrived in Irun early evening. It was a long journey, but I quite enjoyed going 'backwards' over some of the kinds of landscapes I had recently walked over. (It doesn't retrace the exact Camino route though.) It was especially interesting in the Meseta area to see how brown everything had become since I had walked there.
