Greetings from Sunriver Oregon…counting down to September to walk from Porto! So excited!
Welcome. I used to live in Sunriver before I moved to Bend and since moved out of state. Just the name Sunriver brings back memories of friends, bike rides and river floating and of course Mt. Bachelor.

Bienvenue.
My family lived in Bend in the 50’s and 60’s, before there was a Sunriver and Mt Bachelor had no chairlifts. We just hiked and sledded up there until Mr Healy put up the first chairlift and chased us off the mountain. Great memories. The road beyond the mountain was only paved up to Elk Lake and it was jeep territory on up to the Upper Deschutes!

Hope your Camino is a rich and rewarding experience.
