Time of past OR future Camino
walking every day for the rest of my life
According to the sketch maps on the gronze site, it is 904km from Saint Jean to Leon, Leon to Oviedo, Oviedo to Melide, Melide to Santiago.
If you add up the individual distances it comes to 878.7km.
So do I need to walk an extra 121.3km or an extra 96km to make up 1,000km?
Dax is a very convenient 92.4km away from St Jean, but don't let me influence your answer!

I'm confused  Oviedo is way off the Camino Francés. The walk from León to Oviedo and from Oviedo to Melide is an adventure on its own

I'm thinking of starting on the Camino Frances, zipping up the del Salvador from Leon, across the Primitivo and then back on to the Frances at Melide. To really confuse the issue (just in case you see another post) I'm wondering about doing the Camino Barcelona first, and then starting the Frances from Pamplona.
