Well, I am off tomorrow for Barcelona in spite of the hurricane - flying through New York City - SJPP on the 6th or 7th. I hope to see some of you along the Way. Prayers ascending for safe travel for all of us starting out.

All the best on your Camino. Sil shared with me the following statement by John Paul II:

"To go in a spirit of prayer from one place to another, from one city to another, in the area marked especially by God's intervention, helps us not only to live our life as a journey, but also gives us a vivid sense of a God who has gone before us and leads us on, who himself set out on man's path, a God who does not look down on us from on high, but who became our travelling companion."

Though you may at times appear to walk alone, know that being alone on Camino is impossible. You tread steps walked by millions of pilgrims o'er the past one thousand years. More importantly, you may walk with our Savior every step of the way.

Well it's possible that we may see you along the Way, because we will leave from Roncesvalles on the morning of the 7th. Look out for a grey haired couple - named Adriaan & Anne. Buen Camino!
