Getting ready for El Camino "Frances" in 2022
I'd like to start off by saying hello and thank you for creating this forum and everyone who has posted great advice......

We will start our Camino de Santiago on 14 April 2022 from New York, USA 🇺🇸. Arriving in Madrid, Spain 🇪🇸 and traveling to Pamplona and onward to St. Jean Pied de Port, France 🇫🇷; were we will commence our Pilgramage to Santiago de Compostela on 16 April 2022.

Just wanted to say I am starting the same day but flying to Barcelona and taking the train to Irún for El Norte! Also flying from NYC (Newark)! Buen Camino!

You will love the Norte. I love New Orleans. Also make sure you get some ice cream here when you arrive in San Sebastian:

Gelateria Boulevard Alameda del Blvd., 10, San Sebastián,​

there are two locations on the same street. You will not regret it I promise you.

Buen Camino. I will be starting my first Camino in SJPP on 31st March, just a few days to go 23 days to go until I start my travel from the USA. I'm very excited to finally be doing this. All the very best
