My name is Markus and I am quite new to this forum and I was really surprised how fast I got quick and valuable support. I would dare to say, this forum provided me with the best first impressions of all forums I have used. And there are a lot.
Why Shinobi42 as nickname? The japanese Shinobi sign is also known as "Nin". It consists of the two symbols for cutting (a Katana symbol with an additional drop) and for the heart (the Kokoro symbol). Cutting your heart has the meaning of endurance in hiding and stands for the Ninja warriors and spies in the japanese history. I have practiced Ninjutsu for over a decade.
The 42, as you all know, is the answer of all questions of the universe and a hint to my favourite novel, the "Hitchhikers Guide through the Galaxy".
I am a PSM II certified (scrum.org) Scrum Master, working in Frankfurt, Germany. I like hiking (noone may have expected that) and I am also a scout leader for the Royal Rangers in Mainz, additionally I am also a trainer for other scout leaders. Sometimes I am sitting at my sewing machine to make my own gear or repair it or fixing the big tents of my scout tribe.
After the first part of my Camino de la Costa in 2018 I became addicted for several aspects of pilgrimage and took over the responsibility for the signs on the final peace of the Hessian Camino (from Fulda to Mainz) between the vineyards of Hochheim (where the delicious sparkling wine for Queen Victoria was produced) and Mainz-Kastel (home of Adolphus Busch, son-in-law of Eberhard Anheuser, both known for the US Bud beer). So you can say, a very spiritual path ...
Currently I have planned to finish my first Camino in July 2020.
