Hello Camino family, I wish to thank you ALL kindly for your warm welcome and spiritually uplifting messages---that means A LOT to me. At Dave, no, I did not realize I was already a pilgrim? Still, the thought of already being one brings me comfort
I'm learning as I go...
Thank you Al the optimist---I'm looking forward to it. Thank you Kerstinh47 and Deacon Harbey Santiago for your blessing! The Lord knows, it is much needed.
Agreed! I'm enjoying the process of planning my spiritual journey. Next item on my to-buy-list: The Ausprey Aura 24 or 26--so I can plan my packing around it. There is so much to learn, share, do, and prepare for my
Camino de Santiago---hopefully alongside with my fiancee Robert.
Briefly, my mom fell ill with lung cancer. She was operated a year ago and she is fine now. When I first heard the news, my soul was pierced with that of a burning dagger. The hurt was so intense, that I think I might have made the heavens tremble and maybe even scared the Titans, as I sat still and cried even
in silence.
To say the least, my new Camino family, life changed.
I am defeated.
Warmly,
Chacee
