Hi Julo

By pure chance, I was introduced to pilgrimage by the association for the Via Francigena, who were holding a promotion on the first day I arrived in Siena. My first pilgrimage was through the streets of Siena, with keen young members of the association showing the way. My first rural walks on pilgrim trails were north and south of the city. I will never forget walking the VF through the Crete Senesi!

I'm so grateful for the seed that was planted then. My thanks to all Italian pilgrims!
