- May 1997 (Leon to Santiago); Sections Camino Frances: May 2011, May 2012, May 2013, October 2013, June-July 2014 (Sahagun to Santiago).
I have been to the Camino every May since 2011 and, strangely enough, APRIL weather has been much better than May weather. I would not go back again on May, unless late (late!) May.

The amount of time you have to walk the Way will often determine where you will begin your Camino.
I will begin on or about 6 April at SJPDP. Time wise, it will take about 36-40 days.
