My wife, two of our boys and I will walking the camino for our fist time next month. We will be leaving St. Louis, and heading for Dallas, then on to Madrid. Then a short flight to San Sebastián and a short train trip to st. jean pied de port. See you on the trail.

You will have seen half of Spain by the time you get to SJPdP! Have a great walk, and buen camino!

Good luck with this and I hope the weather has improved since I was there March April. If I can give you one piece of advise and that is to bring poles with you it will make your walk a little easier oh and ear plugs are good idea

Hello Mark, I hope you will keep us posted on your progress and your experiences along the Camino. Your travel plan for arriving seems pretty demanding. If you feel the need it may be wise to stay an extra day in France before beginning the climb. This would be particularly important if you are not in good shape. Buen Camino
