Any of you pilgrims on the Way right now planning on continuing on to Muxia? I need someone who loves cats (especially sick ones), solitude, and nature to take care of my 100 year old stone house from the 23rd to the 28th of March (Easter week). House answers to the name of The Little Fox. Food included. If you can wield a broom and like to garden there might be a bit of remuneration too!

Hi There! Actually, the need was for Christmas last, although I am also looking for help in the middle of May as I need to go to Malaga for my granddaughter´s 3rd birth day. We will have kittens in the house by then! I was very lucky because not only did I have a pilgrim to stay but he even invited his mother down as a Christmas present for her. In the meantime she has become so much a supporter of The Little Fox House that she has started a Friends group on Facebook called the Merry Gang of Friends of The Little Fox House. I would add a link but given my previous experiences with the admin here it would almost certainly mean that this thread would be removed.
I still remain dismayed. And hurt. Surely the whole point of this Forum is to let pilgrims know about such places as this post-camino retreat.....? I am always so sad when I get messages such as this "We would have loved to stay with you but had no idea you even existed....."
In the meantime new and clearly commercial ventures are touted by long term members, clearly immune.
Oh well, those in the know will surely pass this on.
Buen Camino,
Tracy

Unfortunately I won´t be able to go anywhere at Easter after all as funds won´t allow it, but I would really appreciate any pilgrim who might want a little peace and quiet mid-April and then again mid-May. Anyone likely to be walking to Muxia or Fisterra about that time? You can contact me on FB. I don´t hang around here too much these days.....
