- Back in summer 2012!
As part of an extended Camino I will be landing in Nice (France) this summer. Instead of walking straight to Saint Jean I'd like to head west instead to Banyuls and follow the HRP up along the Pyrenees.
The E7 is conveniently placed, replaced by the E4 when it cuts south.
Their doesn't seam to be any English guidebooks for either of the two. So these are effectively a dark spot on the map for me.
My questions are:
How well are these walks signposted? As backup I have a phone with gmaps+gps capability (but would rather not heavily rely on).
What are the available forms of cheap accommodation along the route? Is it likely that I can find a tucked away place each day to set up a tent? How much & frequent are cheap camp-sites in southern France?
Any info/insight is much appreciated,
