I will start from Lisbon 4th of September and plan to take a bus(?) up to Tui and then start walking from there. Also when finished in Santiago I need to get back to Lisbon. Any tips are of great value.

Hi Elsen,

From Lisbon there is a bus to Tui (or Tuy in Portugese):

On the website, first select 'International'. Then enter 'Lisboa' and 'Tuy':

For buses from Lisbon to Valenca:

From Santiago to Lisbon: check Alsa's website:

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
If crossing the border is a problem for the bus company, just look for a bus from Lisbon to Valença. Depending on where the bus station is in Valença, it's only a 3 or km walk over the bridge into Tui.
