I'm not exactly sure of my starting date...

Hola! I'm Brian.

At the moment, I am a live-in caregiver for my friend's 91 yr. old grandmother with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Once she passes, I will be starting my journey.

I would like to start in Lourdes and then either cross the Pyranese there or head up to SJPDP and hike from there.

I also would like to go onto Finnestre.

Any advice, tips, guides, suggestions, or camaraderie is greatly appreciated, especially if someone has advice or tips for the unknown calendar start date.

Buen Camino, Brian. You will become addicted to the forum! I learned a lot for planning my camino simply by reading the different posts each day. Plus, be sure to search for common topics (poles, sleeping bags, boots, routes, etc.). More information than you can ever really digest.

I will be leaving from St. Palais, France, and walking two days to SJPDP. I fly into Puy, near Lourdes, and then take a bus to St. Palais. I thought about first going to Lourdes, but ultimately decided not to.
