For those of you now on the trail who will be in Pamplona this weekend, now through Sunday, you are in luck. The annual Pintxos ('tapas' in Basque, pronounced 'peencho') festival is on. More than 40 bars are featuring a special festival pintxo, and they will gladly pair it with a glass of the local wine for you.
Look for the signs in the bar windows to know which bars are participating, then pick up a guide map inside (or at Tourist Info Office).
