You could walk - 2 days. It is sign posted from Bayonne cathedral. There was an amigos group welcoming pilgrims in the cathedral when I passed through to Irun in 2009. Janet

The camino goes along side the perimeter of the airport, if you had a map you could leave the main entrance and make your way to it, that would still leave about 35km, there was pilgrim dedicated accommodation on the way to Irun in May 2012, this has probably has been added to.
