Hello!

My name is Lillian Rodriguez from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I'm 62, retired and bitten by the camino "bug" that compels you to return for more. During September 2004, I did the last stages of the Camino Frances, from Sarria to Santiago, continuing to Fisterra. Certainly one of the greatest experiences of my life, in spite of the massification of summer and the año jacobeo.

I plan to walk again the entire camino in May 2007 starting at Roncesvalles. Training is underway with 6 mile walks/day to be increased as my departure approaches. This preparation, the planning the journey, choosing what to pack is also part of the thrill of the camino.

To those who are leaving soon, !Buen camino!; to others who've returned, we are already "compañeros del camino" and to those who are planning to go in May, perhaps we'll meet!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Hola Lillian! I'm planning to start my Camino at the beginning of May in St. Jean Pied du Port, and there are several others here who will be on the Camino at that time! I hope to see you there!

:D Hi Lillian, I'm also planning to walk the camino in early May from Roncesvalles. My first pilgrimage was in 2002 Roncesvalles - Santiago, 42 days, enjoyed it so much that I went back and did the last 100km again in2003.

I am now 69 and hope to celebrate my 70th on the Camino on 23rd May 2007.

Maybe we will meet.

Best wishes Alan (living on a boat on the River Thames)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hola Wolverine,
Sorry I missed your message! Weather permitting; I’m now considering beginning in St Jean on May 2. I’m starting on my own, so perhaps, we will meet there!

Buen camino to you all.

Hi Alan!

Sorry I missed your message! Hope to be around to celebrate your birthday in the camino! And if not, may it be the happiest ever!

Buen camino!

Okay, you'll be a couple of days ahead of me then. I'm not planning to leave home until May 4, with a projected start date on the Camino of May 6 or 7. It all depends on if I chose to overnight it in Paris on my way out or not. But I'm sure we'll see each other at some point, especially if you take 2 days to get to Roncesvalles (as recommended by Dawn). :)
