Hello!
My name is Lillian Rodriguez from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I'm 62, retired and bitten by the camino "bug" that compels you to return for more. During September 2004, I did the last stages of the Camino Frances, from Sarria to Santiago, continuing to Fisterra. Certainly one of the greatest experiences of my life, in spite of the massification of summer and the año jacobeo.
I plan to walk again the entire camino in May 2007 starting at Roncesvalles. Training is underway with 6 mile walks/day to be increased as my departure approaches. This preparation, the planning the journey, choosing what to pack is also part of the thrill of the camino.
To those who are leaving soon, !Buen camino!; to others who've returned, we are already "compañeros del camino" and to those who are planning to go in May, perhaps we'll meet!
