I have read somewhere he is in hospital, is he ok? There is a campaign in Facebook, send a Xmas card to zapatones with a hospital address in it, but before publishing that addres I would like to confirm good old Zapatones is indeed in hospital.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Yes he is still in the hospital as far as I know. I understand that he was hit by a car and will be operated on tomorrow. Apparently he has two broken legs and broken ribs. He looked pretty bad. This information I saw on several FB Camino pages yesterday.

ay, pobrecito zapatones, that sounds nasty enough allright, ouch!!! Thanks for the update!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I read yesterday (via facebook ) that he is very lonely, not many people coming to visit and he worries about his future, it says he will be out of commission at least 2 months... it probably will be longer, he will need physio therapy for walking. He will need front teeth etc... lots of expenses and personally am not sure what the status is of the Spanish health system now with all the cutbacks. I hope his local friends rally around him.
