Friends and I walked from Oia, Spain to Santiago along the Coastal Route. We made the trek in 7 days. It was amazing, challenging, difficult in places, easy in others...an alphabet of descriptors! I was deeply touch by the "bienvenidos" extended by everyone all along the Way.
For anyone about to walk their first - hiking poles are your friends! water, water, water! walk in a relaxed manner! Buen Camino!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Well done....I am sure you will return. The Camino has way of calling you again. My first pilgrimage was in 2008, it's still wonderful..
