Late Arrival in Leon

We will be arriving by train in Leon on Sunday, September 7th at 6 pm. Do you think we will be able to find lodging at one of the albergues at that "late" hour? How about our getting our Camino passports on a Sunday at that time?

Booking an inexpensive hostal may be your best bet. The albergues may have space, but you may end up wandering all around the city to find if they have open beds. If there are two of you, a hostal won't be much more expensive. I have stayed here several times:

2024 edition: The Brierley Camino Frances Guide
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
