Hullo all! First time Camino walker going along the via podiensis from Le Puy to Cahors, starting May 28 and finishing around June 16. I’m an art historian—if you see a tall solo woman walker named Kris, ask me about the architecture!

The scenery is a bit wilder than Dejeuner Sur L'Herbe, and I suggest walking with your clothes on, but it's a great camino.

Great I'm walking Le Puy to St Jean in early June, may see you along the way...I'll be the short solo pilgrim haha. Even if I miss you I'd be interested to know about your travels along this way. Louise

@andycohn well spotted! I expect the road to be wilder but the people more mild than the Bois de Boulogne!

Hi Kris, thank you for your lovely response Yes plenty of marvellous technical and practical information available here Your ‘condensed art and architectural tour’ sounds like an terrific project, I for one have so little knowledge in this area...

French people on the Via Podiensis seem to me very knowledgeable and appreciative of the architecture found along that chemin. I hope you are able to interact with them.
