Hi, new member to the forum thinking of taking the camino from le puy in july. Will be travellilng from dublin ireland. any ideas on best destination by air to reach le puy. thanks, Phil

Fly to Lyon (St Exupery).
Metro to Lyon.(14 euros)
Train from Lyon Part-Dieu station to Le Puy (about 20 euros). Remember to 'composter les billets' but they'll forgive you as a foreigner if you dont.

What is 'composter les billets'? I see the machine on youtube.

After you buy your ticket, but before you get on the train, you are supposed to put it into a machine that stamps it as used. Under this honor system, if you buy a ticket, but do not use it, you have the posted rights to refund or exchange if it has not been stamped in the "composter les billets" machine.
