Hey everyone!
I just bought my ticket last Thursday. I had planned to walk the Camino in June or July prior to beginning my psychology internship (the last part of my doctoral degree). However, it would seem that for the second year in a row (my profession really needs to get it's act together) I will not be going on internship. That and several other factors have come together to bump my Camino far earlier than I anticipated. As a result, I'll be landing in Paris on March 27th, and heading out of SJPP (weather permitting, thanks for all the updates) on the 28th.
I had to scramble to get some more appropriate clothing (as I wasn't expecting to deal with snow in July), but I think I am as prepared as a peregrino can ever be (after all, the adventure is half the fun), although I'll have to cram to learn any French/Spanish I can before next week.
Anyone else heading from the States/Paris on those days? I hope to meet at least a few of you all along the way. Buen Camino and thanks to everyone on the boards for all the advice you have posted around. Brierley has nothing on you guys!
