Lisbon via Fatima

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Hi there, I plan to fly to Lisbon (from UK) on 5th July and walk to Fatima + continue on to Porto from there

Are all alburgues open now? Is the path well marked? Is there any other advice for a novice

I plan to follow this route: https://stingynomads.com/camino-fatima-walk-lisbon-porto/#Why_we_liked_the_walk_from_Lisbon

To get to Fatima in 6 days

Thank you all :)

Mark
The path is well marked all the way. From Santarem to Fatima has a few strenuous sections as it passes through the hills, but well worth it for the views. From Fatima there are 2 options to rejoin, the main route to Santiago. Either via Tomar or Ansiao. The Ansiao route is a day shorter but as you enter Tomar you literally pass the Convento de Cristo. So you pays your money and takes your choice.

As far as albergues on the Caminho are concerned, I very much doubt many are open yet as very few hotels are yet reopening. The beginning of July is when more will reopen. Fatima has just had 16 new cases of the virus at the Sanctuary, so I would imagine that the albergue is closed. A shame as it is a great albergue
