Long term storage in Oviedo (or Madrid)

Hi everyone.
My wife and I are planning our second Primitivo, and we are looking for a place to store a bag we do not need along the way.
Have you found any service that does that in Oviedo or Madrid?

Could you send your bag from Oviedo to Casa Ivar (of this forum) and collect it when you arrive in SdeC? Ivar offers luggage storage.

I would either send the bag to Casa Ivar or find a hotel where you can store your luggage.

Send your luggage to Santiago, we will store it for you (2024)

Send your luggage to me in Santiago de Compostela

Yes, thank you, that is an option. But that would mean we HAVE TO reach SdeC, which we haven't been able on our first try due to health issue. So, I'm looking for a storage where I know we will return. I was thinking booking a hotel in Oviedo in the beginning and the end, and ask them to store our bag in between...

I am flying into/out of Madrid. The hotel I am staying at in Madrid before flying out was happy to hold my bag for free…they even gave me a cookie before leaving for the train station!

We stay at the Hostal Persal in Plaza del Angel. They will store luggage for free - this year it was for almost 2 months as we walked the VDLP. Very friendly, 24 hr reception and a great breakfast.

Great idea if a hotel will do this for you. Definitely try to make this arrangement when you make the reservation (? A more expensive hotel more likely).
