Time of past OR future Camino
CF 2015 with son #1, CF 2016 alone, CF 2017 with son #2 and husband , CF Sept 2018 with daughter
Coming back from the Camino it took me about 6 weeks to adjust to normal life again. I walked last May/June with my 20 year old son and we had the time of our lives as many of you did too I assume. I found it was not just the walking in Spain but also my prep for the Camino I'm missing. I keep walking there I want to keep up the workouts but would love to have a goal again. Now I already decided that I will walk the Camino again but not coming year but the year after ( I'm still working and can't just take off every summer 6 weeks :) . So my solution for now is to do several 3 or 4 day walks nearby. Just to keep going. However walking in FL by yourself is not a safe thing to do. I looked into walks here and there used to be " The big O" walk (walk around Lake Ocheechobee) But that one doesn't exist anymore.

So I thought if there are more "Camino lovers" in Florida maybe we can get together a few times a year to do a 2,3 or 4 day walk somewhere in FL "Camino style" . Just plan a route , book a few motel rooms and have dinner together and walk on the next day.

Contact me and I'll keep you posted if there are a few people interested.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Dutch, there is a group in the Miami area that is quite active, and does group walks. I'll get the contact info from Facebook and send you a PM (Conversation).

ps could you give me your email address (in private message if yo prefer) I have most likely 4 other people (for now) that would like to do this. It would be easier to sent out a group email once I know a bit more. Thanks

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
