LT5 Gossamer Gear Trekking Poles

Wondering if any Forum members have experience with the LT5 trekking poles. I have always used trekking poles…they work well for me so not looking to open a discussion on the merits of using them or not…thanks.

The specs indicate they fold into a very compact size…likely fitting within a backpack for carryon on plane. I know the carryon possibility is hit and miss depending on airline used.

It's not really the airline - it's the agent on duty when you go through security that will determine whether or not you can board with poles in your pack.
