We are in the town of Mansilla de los Mulas, near Leon. Today was a long walk with very little places to stop at. I picked up a tummy bug yesterday so I am no not doing so good. After we walked 13 miles, when we got to the town before this we hopped a cab for the last 4 miles. We are in a pretty nice albergue where the hopitalero is also a nurse and treats people feet. Tomorrow we will catch the bus from here to Leon and check into a nice hotel. and take a day off.

Yesterday we stopped off in moratinos and met Paddy and got an invite to there place for a cup a coffee. It was very nice to visit a place we have been reading about for so long. After we left we walked to Bersianos de Real Camino and stayed at the pharocial albergue. It was very nice but....that is where I caught my bug.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
This 'bug' seems to be going on a long time. Mansilla was where people were suffering from 'bugs' about 2 weeks ago! Not widespread but persistent :(

This may be a silly question but can someone explain the 'community dinner' in albergues. Does it mean the food is provided by the albergue owners/staff and if so is the cost included in the...
I haven't been paying attention on the forum to discussions about when Orisson starts accepting reservations. But I just booked for May 18, so it's obviously open for reservations.
