Le Puy Aug 23, Camino Frances Sept 23
Hi all! I am completing the GR65 or via Podiensis in a week (Navarrenx tomorrow) and spending two nights in SJPdP. Then starting the Camino Frances. I’m having some muscle issues in a shoulder and generally tight muscles all over- of course. If anyone knows of a massage therapist (sports style) between St Jean and Logrono that would be awesome. I have tried calling my hotel 10 times but can’t get a response.

A quick google search brings up quite a few masssage therapists in SJPP, and with good reviews 😎 for example, Chloe Jolly has some 5 star reviews from other pilgrims.

Hope you are enjoying the Le Puy Way. We live in Lectoure. Some lovely days in Basque Country ahead as you make your way to SJPP 🇫🇷❤️🇪🇸

Hi,

As Pelerina just said, Google "kiné saint jean pied de port" will bring you several answers.

Note that those professionals are often over-busy with their usual patients.

Thank you-I am not quite good enough with my French to know this term “kine” so this is very helpful! And it is a Monday, too.

Pelerine, Thank you so much I really enjoyed the Le Puy route and even though it was 40+ in Lectoure, I enjoyed a lovely dinner and stay at the Presbytere (so very welcoming!) I left the next morning in the dark at 5:30 am and it was a fantastic adventure to avoid the heat! I do love the dark starts but that heat was too much!

I think I shall try Chloe Jolly-great search and thank you! My googling isn’t working as well because I google in English 🙃.

That’s great. Apologies for the weather. 🥵 The volunteers at the Presbytère are a wonderful group 🙏
