Hi everyone.

Due to injury I am being a 'tourigrino'.....

So far I have been using jacotrans. Great service. Pop the money in the envelope each day etc.

Now I'm into Galicia the hostels seem more keen on mochila express.

Bit confused about how this works. Last night I just got a sticker for my bag and paid the e3 to the hostel.

Is that normal? No envelopes to stick on the bag. Just pay the host...

Same again tonight. I guess that's the system...
Yes. Xacotrans used to be the main player, but it seems there are now more choices. I suspect (no evidence) that some lodging operators have joined together to provide this service, or at least participate. We had a few occasions last year when we had left the Xacotrans tag on the bag, and it arrived at the other end with another tag.
They all seem to be trustworthy and as long as it gets there, well....
Particularly in Galicia, the lodging folks all seem to be well versed in livery service. So, carry on, take care of your injury, have a great Camino.

I found I couldn't make any reservation in SJPP in the coming days. They are fully booked. I can't find even a single bed. What should I do? Is there anybody has a same situation?
Roncesvalles or push to Burguete? I prefer to avoid the recommended stages to avoid the race for albergues. Do you suggest Burguete? Is Roncesvalles too busy?
Several local news websites are reporting that in very bad weather a few days ago a pilgrim was found lost and confused walking the shoulder of the AP-1 highway near Burgos. Aiming for Burgos but...
