I have never kept a blog before so this is completely new to me but I shall give it a go. I do not intend to call home at all so this is how my family will know what I am up to and the plan is to update daily if I can find internet access that frequently.

I am not a great writer but I will give it a good go. I hope you enjoy following my journey.

Hi Drew
enjoying the blog already.
I fly out also on the 20th-look out for the aged baldy one-though I'm turning right on the Norte walking a different path

Hi Drew,
I already linked up to you blog when you gave the link in your previous post today so am already a faithful follower :D I keep my fingers crossed for you (thinking about your cyst problem).

And to Ian (Sagalouts): I have enjoyed your previous blogs tremendously so hopefully you will also keep a blog for the Norte?

I will be following you both and buen camino to both.

Thank you all, I really appreciate it. I wouldn't be doing this trip without you all, so much great advice and help.

It just feels surreal at the minute, like I will wake up at any minute and think "Wow that was a good dream! Me walk all that way, yeah right!" But until I wake up I might as well go through with the adventure.

Sat next to my backpack now, all packed and ready to go. Just waiting to head down to the hotel in London.

Thank's again to you all. Those of you who are out at the same time as me then I hope to bump into you.
