Buen Camino to you Trish and your two young ladies!I hope that you will be able to start out from SJPP instead of Pamplona but that's out of your hands. Either way the Camino will prove an incredible experience for you three.

I read bits of your blog a while back. I've hiked a part of the Presidential Range as a teenager but I certainly take my hat off to your girls for doing it at such a young age! They are a tough bunch!!!

Thank you, everyone! We are now in Roncesvalles. Snow everywhere -- feels like we never left home. For those who want to do the Napoleon Route soon...don't count on it. Yesterday, the mountain probably received another 1/3 meter of snow. Valcarlos is lovely, though, and the walk was beautiful.
