Excited for my upcoming bed reservation in Borda!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Watched video recently looks really nice.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I’m booked there too this year. I’ve walked SJPdP to Roncesvillas twice. I’m so excited to split the day on my upcoming pilgrimage. Nothing but great reviews at Borda. Very exciting. 🥳
Buen Camino! 😎👣🌻

I stayed at Borda on my first Camino on September 20th. The place is wonerful. The young man who owns and manages the hostel is friendy, generous, and very helpful. The place is the perfect respite after your fist day on the Camino. The bed area is really nice, one of my favorite during my entire forty-four day walk. The pilgrim dinner was great, the view was wonderful, and I highly recommend Hostel Borda!!!

Just bitten the bullit and booked a bed in Borda for the middle of September. It was n't there the last time I walked the CF so really looking forward to the experience. last time I stayed in Orisson which was very nice.
I prefer Borda over Orisson. Laurent, Borda's host does his best to make his guests comfortable and ready for a safe and enjoyable walk to Roncesvalles. He prepares delicious communal dinner and breakfast himself followed by safety orientation. Stayed there twice (2022, 2023), plan to stay there next Camino. Please tell Laurent, Joe Ramos, extends his best regards and hopes to see each other again soon.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hello, just wondering how you booked this? I have been looking to do the same for late April but the website seems to throw up no available dates (even when I try random times later in the year). Did you contact them directly or book online? Ie trying to work out if it is not taking online bookings yet or it is actually full.

You won't be wrong in splitting your stage from SJPDP to Roncevaux and staying in Borda. It was my 2nd time crossing this point of the Pyrinees. I had a leisurely walk up to Orrisson, a lovely sunny lunch with no rush to the fab views outside Borda while waiting for it to open. The following morning was magical watching the sunrise with few people ahead and trekking up the mountain. Best day ever.

Loved my stay there. Perfect way to end your first day walking, with delicious food, new friends, and the cosiest bed on the Camino. Woke to a beautiful sunrise, a breakfast, packed lunch, and headed off to Roncesvalles. I would stay there a week if I could.

Borda is so nice. I am still in contact with four people I met there two years ago.
