im Sina from Germany and it’s my first Camino. I just want to share that I could leave the first stone of my soul in Lavra. It was absolutely magic and I’m very thankful for that. And maybe I can leave a few more stones on my Camino Portugues.

Hi Sina, welcome and Bom Caminho. Doubly so, as a (temporary) fellow countryman - Germany is currently my home too.

I just want to share that I could leave the first stone of my soul in Lavra.

I'm not actually familiar with this term, could you please explain what you mean? Or would somebody else be so kind?

Bom Caminho, Peter.
It means that one of the reasons why I walk the Camino yesterday fell off me like a stone that weighed heavily on my soul. In this case it was being able to forgive my father and say goodbye to him because he died two years ago.
