Nothing to complain about

A month ago (already? really??) I concluded my partial camino, this year walking the meseta. I look back on it and have nothing to complain about except maybe that I wish I'd had more time to walk! (just a few years short of retirement and then I can take my time). I kept myself in the 20-22km/day range, it rained and I love rain and was prepared for it, snorers didn't keep me up, early risers didn't wake me up, locals were nothing but gracious hosts, I entertained myself during siesta, my boots and my pack both fit like a glove, nothing hurt (until I was done with my actual camino so it doesn't count) and I even lost a little weight. I walked and hung out with fantastic new friends. I know I walked with a smile on face. I hope that others can look back on the grand scheme of things and realize they really didn't have anything to complain about either. (I hate to use the word complain but...)

Hi, these were the same feelings that I lived in 2013 when I walked the Camino for the first time with my daughter Lara. So we decided together to start again in 2014 and...in three weeks again.

Congratulations! I returned almost 2 weeks ago from walking SJPP to Burgos. Somehow I had a super sore right knee, and growing blisters with lives of their own, but you couldn't wipe the smile off my face the entire time. I've never been happier. Indeed nothing to complain about. Ever. Absolutely fantastic.
