Nov"2015"
Hello there! A friend and I are looking to start our camino in nov of this year..so two females mid 20s to early 30s...I'm wondering if anyone else is going at this time so we can have some traveler friends due to the growing concern about female travelers and the suggesting of going in groups of four...is this a serious issue or are we ok going with just the two of us? Thanks!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hello. I am a little bit reluctant to give my advice on this, as I speak from a male perspective and as there are several threads on safety on this forum where others have said wise things about the safety issue already. It is worth taking a look at them.
However, I have walked the Frances twice in October / November (I guess you plan to walk the Camno Frances ?) and there are still numerous pilgrims around. If you feel safer walking in a group of 4 (I do not know who actually adviced this) it seems to me that you can still do that spontaneously and decide on the spot. Please note, it is very common to walk together with other pilgrims you have just met in the albergue or on trail,so if you really want to walk in a group of 4 you can make that happen; for me it seems a bit too much precaution to try and organise this beforehand. Buen Camino ! Marc.

For the Camino de Santiago; I plan on arriving on Nov 17th and possibly starting my walk the 19th. Have never done the walk, so it's new for me. But, I have already done some research and I do know that it is considered the Winter walk
Here is a thread started by @Sandra S , who is looking for other people starting in November 2015. I'm sure she would love to add your name to her list! Here is a thread listing people who will start their caminos in October - many of them (including me) will be walking through November.

It is the time of the year that it is not to busy and it is the only time I will get the opportunity to go.
