Time of past OR future Camino

After walking hundreds of kilometers from Valencia we reached Galicia and approached Albergueria hoping that one of the most wonderful bars of the Camino, El Rincon del Peregrino, would be open. Over the past few years I had heard it was closed. Grateful to find it open. Welcomed by Roberto we will stay the night at their albergue and he helped me to find the shell I left here almost 5 years ago. The walls and ceiling of the Bar and Albergue across the street are covered with shells left by pilgrims over the years. All sorted by date. Wonderful! Photo with owners Roberto on left and Luis on right and Bo of The Hague and I in center.

One of many special stops on The Camino.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
This morning walking out of The Albergue across from Rincon de Peregrinos (The Shell) Bar in Albergueria on Camino Sanabres I slid my finger along the outside table top. Saharan sand.

It’s clearing up after 3 days though as the sun is finally breaking through.

Is the Luis on the right the original owner? I am glad the albergue is open, I know they had a lot of issues with the authorities and generated a lot of bad local publicity, which I hope is all behind them now. I’ve got two shells hidden in there somewhere but had never thought I would be able to find them — you have inspired me!
