These are what I called blue bum sheep.
And the beautiful horses in the mountains.
I also felt connected to these horses. ..cause they had "cankles". Just like me.
Actually that's stuffed wild boar........., "enjoying the view"KinkyOne, #1402, Is that a dog that looks like a pig, or a pig that looks like a dog? Ha!!
That second picture is so nice. What a view.Day one was special for a lot of reasons, and the animals were a large part of that.

Anyone have any experiences with zoos, nature parks along the camino. Any places that have the best opportunities for viewing wildlife?

Me too! The ferns she brushed up against landed in the perfect spot. She was in the field next to the albergue at Kayola (just before Orrison). The ferns were still in her mane the next morning.I especially like the pony's headdress.
