Got off to an early start with temperatures already quickly rising. Took me over 60 minutes just to get out of the city.
Today's trek was an ugly one through agricultural fields, commercial and industrial zones. The only saving grace was it was entirely flat.
About noon I passed a temperature Guage indicating 40C and did the math only to find it was 104F. Way too hot to be walking. Thankfully I had my umbrella 🌂 which saved me a few degrees.
I finally reached my Agriturisimo (Arte Contadina) (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), took a shower, did laundry and was served a fantastic dinner.
Note: If you're thinking of walking the VF, you might want to consider skipping this stage and going on to Fidenza.
Now getting ready for tomorrow's short day to Fidenza.
