[Patch G]

Hello - I just finished the El Camino. It was a long and difficult journey but made me aware of a lot of things about myself I didn't even know. I walked in rain, snow, mud endless mud and hail. I walked alone on several occasions and wondered if anyone ever felt the presence of others with you when you were alone.

frequently. not an individual but an awareness of those who have gone before, those who are present now and those who will come.

I use to be a no nonesense, logical Protestant who had no time for statues, ornate churches, the rosary, and with the preaching of the Word as central to worship.

I'm still a Protestant but have become mystical and sacramental.

The Camino allows us to experience a thinning of the walls between the eternal and the reality of our daily lives and that has a profound impact upon our soul.
