Hi all many thanks for the quick replies and the good advice about putting an email address on the pilgrim passport. You should fill out all of your personal information before you start using your credential. It's also recommended to write in some contact information, such as email address and/or phone number in case you misplace it somewhere.
So earlier this year I found a credential at a Capilla on the Primitivo. It was dated from the day before. I left it there, thinking the owner may have been long gone, and there was no way to contact her. There was no contact information, other than a name. Skip ahead about three hours and I'm sitting in a bar, tired, and I overhear a conversation from other patrons. I hear her name. Are you **** from Canada, I ask? She replied yes. Darn, I knew I should have carried that. If only there were a number, or an email address. She didn't think it was important enough to go back for it. It was her first camino. You should fill out all of your personal information before you start using your credential.
