Portuguese in March

Hello
Looking for advice on walking in March... which route would have the better weather? Are there many other pilgrims and are accommodations open? Any other advice welcomed. Thanks

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
If the weather is bad. -thunderstorms, gales etc. stay away from the coast.
Take the central route but also there yo could get some unwanted surprises .
On the central route you have more chance accomodations are open.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

In Mar I'd suggest central route. Mar is a month of rains in Portugal, this year it's rainy but also very cold, not typical, late and cold spring all over Europe. On the coast you'd be most probably blown off the road by the winds. Would be easier to find accommodation on the cental route, as well as company as the central one is always busy. Plenty of very nice towns on the way to explore, my fav were Barcelos, Ponte de Lima, Valenca, Arcade, Caldas de Reis. You can also walk one day from Porto to Vila do Conde along the ocean, start from Mercado metro stop, and see if you like it along the ocean, there is a new great albergue there, in Vila do Conde, and the town is interesting. From there you can join the central way, going to Rates or Barcelos.

Hey guys. Do you know is catedral open around 8am on Friday or maybe before?

EDIT: Just found out that they open around 9. Is there any way to get passport day before on Thursday and then walk Friday morning?

Thx
