Praise Lord!

Time of past OR future Camino
Sept 2013
I posted a thread in April about the issues in obtaining a Schengen visa for South African citizens living abroad wanting to walk the Camino.
I am great full to report that I have just received my passports back with the visas. Thank you to Pam from confraternity of St James SA and Austin Cooke from Canadian company of pilgrims for all their guidance help and support
See you all on the Camino in July

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Re: Praise Lord!

The Camino is a multitude of little miracles.
Each seems like just a coincedence, but when you add them all together, it seems there is a greater plan.

Some of the little miracles on the Camino happen when you are cold, wet, tired and hungry. Those are the best ones of them all.

Buen Camino,
David, Victoria, Canada.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Re: Praise Lord!

Having gone through the Schengen visa process for myself, our family, and our 4 colleagues I know exactly what you've been through - so CONGRATULATIONS from the bottom of my heart! Good job doing things legally, and having the patience to wade through the myriad of documents and paperwork. It is no easy task. Enjoy all the planning for your Camino!

Re: Praise Lord!

I will tell Austin tomorrow when I see him at breakfast--- I know that he was active with the Spanish Embassy and the South African High Commission, who were all very helpful.
